There were definitely some funny parts, but on the whole it felt a lot like reading a paper version of the Colbert Report. I didn’t read I Am America, so I don’t have a good point of comparison, but maybe I’m spoiled by pretty awesome political comedy books (checkout How To Be Black, e.g.).
